The Human Side of PlayStation Technology

July 24th, 2017 / / Impressions

Technology has become so intertwined with human livelihoods that it has now become difficult to separate the two. It is a now a normal practice among technology executives to enquire about how the end user would “feel” about the technology. Even when Sony is developing the latest PlayStation technology they will consider this feeling.

At the end of the day, we are hard pressed to find an instance when human emotions have not intervened in the choices we make. This is even more prevalent when the matter being discussed is related to entertainment. As the human mind seeks to be entertained it wants to fulfil a basic desire. And although one of the developers said craving causes most suffering it also leads to better. It is by desire that men are inspired excel.

Therefore, it is normal that a product that is primarily based on providing the entertainment should be tested for “feel”. There has been a real concern in the market about the coming back of Spiderman to PlayStation. The worry has been that “…the game will not feel like the original…”

To someone who is not into gaming this is not a major issue. Products like the PlayStation console and games build their empires on repeat customers. True gamers are the markets intended target. Surely the company receives income from people that are once-off buyers of consoles and games. However, the bulk of their money is from the console users who keep coming back for upgrades. Upgrades in software, hardware and the games. PlayStation Now streams PS3 (and now PS4) games to practically. Sadly, there’s still no word on PS Now for australia, but the US price for a full year converts to about AU$130.

Often there are radicle changes in the hardware, software and even the games. These are often perceived as “money-grabbing” actions. Which in reality is fair. Regardless of what you may think, the only reason to run a business is to make a profit. Without which you cannot continue operating. It is sad that some people are ashamed to openly admit that they want to have a little more than enough money. That is why even though people play real money online casino games for the entertainment for more visit yebocasino. They secretly hope to win the million-maker jackpot. Sometimes even day dreaming about how they will spend that real casino prize on a beach holding a drink with a little umbrella.
