French outlet Le Figaro have revealed that Quantic Dream’s PS3 exclusive Beyond: Two Souls has a production budget of €20million (£16.9m), funded by Sony. The releases on October 11th featuring Hollywood actors Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe, and a soundtrack scored by award-winning composer Hans Zimmer.

The budget is surprisingly small considering the the game’s stars and soundtrack, especially when comparing it to GTA V’s production cost of £170 million. Quantic Dream’s previous blockbuster, Heavy Rain, reportedly cost €16.3m to produce and subsequently went on to gross in excess of €70m for Sony.
