Fans of Drake, Sully, Elena, and Chloe will be disappointed to hear that the Uncharted series may be over, now that Naughty Dog has moved on to The Last of Us. A video from Naughty Dog’s Judd Simantov shows the techniques he used in modeling and rigging the game’s primary characters, but also mentions that the Uncharted is over. At the 14:20 into the video, Simantov says “Now that the Uncharted series is over, we had the opportunity to re-evaluate certain things.”
This is sad news if the series is actually over, but there has been no confirmation from Naughty Dog. Hopefully, the developers are just taking a break with The Last of Us, or someone else will be developing the next Uncharted game.
