DC Universe Online, the upcoming MMO from Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) will be heading to store on November 2nd 2010. In addition to revealing the release date, SOE also announced a subscription fee of $14.99 a month to play the game online.

DC Universe Online is the first major MMO on the PlayStation 3, and many speculated that the game would be free to play, which could have resulted in a short lifespan for the title. The subscription fee will mean a much better and expansive experience for gamers as the fee would provide income to create new DLC and updates.

to be honest a fee is not a bad thing but 15 a month is very steep even when PSN is already free.
I think 5-8 a month would be good or at least a steep discount if you bought a years worth of play in advance.
I will wait before i buy this tho i have been wating excitedly for it.
this game shouldnt bee a monthly fee, and $15 a month adds up… there gonna lose a lot of fans cause of the fee. but if the fee needed to be there, then it should be $15 per every 3-4 months , that would be more worth it, and everyone would be happy

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE MAKERS OF THIS GAME HOW CAN YOU CHARGE ME 60.00 TO BUY THE GAME PAY INTERNET FEES AT MY HOME EVERY MONTH AND STILL CHARGE ME A FEE EVERY MTH TO PLAY MY GAME THAT IS TOTALL UNFAIR YOU PPL ARE GONNA LOSE ALOT OF MONEY REGARDING THIS GAME IT SHOULD BE MORE FLEXIBLE A 3MTH PERIOD AT LEAST SHOULD BE GIVEN BUT EVERY MONTH 14.99 NO WAY NEVER IN THE HISTORY OF MY GAMING I EVER ENCOUNTERED SOMETHING LIKE ITS TOTALLY CRUEL PLEASE AMEND THIS TERM AND LET PLAYERS KEEP PLAYING AND LET THIS GAME KEEP SELLING.
