Sony Trademarks “Arc” In Japan

March 5th, 2010 / / News
2

A recent trademark filed by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan adds weight to the rumor previously reported that the upcoming PlayStation 3 motion controller, currently known as the PlayStation Motion Controller, will be named Arc.

The trademark filing was discovered by Siliconera. Interestingly enough, they also found that Konami had filed a trademark for Gradius Arc. Time will tell whether Konami’s Gradius Arc is a game we’ll be playing using Sony’s motion controller.
