If you know your way around a calendar, you will be aware that Christmas falls on a Friday this year. And like most people, SCEE will be probably be getting hammered at the pub on Thrusday 24th December. As a result, the PlayStation Store will be updated earlier than usual that week, on Tuesday 22nd December 2009. In addition, there will be no update the following week as New Year’s Eve also falls on a Thursday.
The next PlayStation Store update, and the first for 2010, will happen on January, 7th 2009. Lets hope Sony has a nice New Year surprise for everyone.
SCEA is likely to have a similar release schedule too, so you can count on the North American PlayStation Store update to happen on the 22nd too. Let’s hope Home Alone makes it on the Video Store in time for Christmas, or I will have to watch it on TV like the past five years.
