who wver wrote that last comment is just fucking lazy. what’s a few extra minutes to get free content? don’t you have to unzip homebrew when you download it? what is the difference with this except for the fact that is larger.

I thought the movie was great for a PSP movie. And I like the business model and have donated to support it.

Assuming the creators were/are successful then this would also be proof that piracy doesn’t hurt the industry, because enough people pay for something even when they can recieve it for free.

I have donated to it because I would love to see more movies made in the style. If this business model takes off, then it gives people more freedom to pay what they feel is right. Being able to pay any amount is enough discouragement to pirate it that many will just link to the website or will even donate.

Now think, if this took off you could start seeing movies, games, and even music for free. Besides the dream part there is a realisitc basis. Look at Google, they don’t charge for most of their services and they have made millions (billions I think, not sure). So this is a possible bussiness format.
Giving consumers more choice is good, and I truly have to say this was a brilliant idea. Though I expect the movie will also become available for other paid formats like DVD in the future.
