Move.me Available Now on PlayStation Store

At this year’s Game Developers Conference we unveiled Move.me, a new software application that runs on the PS3 system and gives researchers, students, and programmers access to PlayStation Move’s technology for developing apps beyond traditional gaming. Move.me enables anyone with a PS3 to experiment with PlayStation Move and create new applications using a PC, the PlayStation Move motion controller, the PlayStation Eye camera, and the PS3 system.

Development On PS3 Version of Final Fantasy XIV Now Complete

Since Final Fantast XIV was delayed on the PS3 a few months back, we haven’t heard much about the game. Citing “memory issues”, the PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIV was delayed to March 2011. But according to the latest issue of Famitsu, however, Square Enix has finished development of the PS3 version and is looking to make a fresh start for the MMO.

Developers Working On Future Sony Console

Although the next iteration of the PlayStation, be it PS4, hasn’t been announced yet, Sony has confirmed that work is progressing on ‘future platform related activities’. First party developers are helping to design the future PlayStation according to Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida.

PlayStation Move Games, Developer Support And Price Point Detailed

PS3 Lead Platform For Platinum Games’ Vanquish

Nothing Compromised For Crysis 2 On PS3 Says Crytek

Crytek studios is due to debut the Crysis franchise on consoles later this year. While the original game has breathtaking visuals to date that pushed even the highest end PC over the edge, it’s no surprise to think that the console versions would suffer from some form of visual downsampling. Sony Frees Additional 70MB Memory For PS3 Developers

The PlayStation University has discovered that the memory used by the PS3′s operating system has reduced from 120MB to 50MB. This upgrade that Sony implemented via the firmware updates means that an additional 70MB worth of memory has been freed up for developers to utilise.

Bizarre Creations Assures Over Blur PS3 Port
