Final Fantasy VIII Coming to Europe Soon

Mike Kebby over on the EU PlayStation.Blog let slip that Final Fantasy VIII will be available in Europe “soonish.” FFVIII, the fastest selling FF game of all time, was originally released in 1999 on the PlayStation, and was revived a few weeks ago when it hit the Japanese PlayStation Store. This is especially good news to Europe as some versions of the original PSOne game does not work on the PS3.

Now that we know Europe is getting the game, it is expected that the US will also receive it around the same time. Final Fantasy VII is available to download on the PlayStation Store for £7.99 and it’s expected that Final Fantasy VIII will retail for the same amount (or at least under £9.99).
