Pro Evo 10 PS3 Slim Coming to Japan

Japanese Fans of Pro Evo 2010 / Winning Eleven 2010 will be glad to know that a hardware bundle is headed your way. The new PlayStation 3 Slim, complete with 120GB hard drive and a DualShock 3 wireless controller will be bundled with a copy of the game. The bundle will be available to purchase from November 5th 2009 for ¥34,800 (approx. £242 / $388).

Super Street Fighter IV Gameplay Trailer

Capcom recently announced Super Street Fighter IV, an upgraded version to the hit PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 fighting game, Street Fighter IV. Among the gameplay improvements are eight new characters. The first gameplay trailer for Super Street Fighter IV shows off the three new fighters: T. Hawk, Dee Jay and Juri.Super Street Fighter IV is slated for a spring release for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Why Sony Should Bring the Ico Collection to PS3

Sony angered many perspective buyers when they decided to remove backwards compatibility of Playstation 2 games from the newer Playstation 3 models. However, the recently announced God of War Collection, which composes of enhance Playstation 2 ports for the Playstation 3, brings new hope. One of the most requested games hoping to receive the same treatment as the God of War Collection is Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. Booth Babes at Tokyo Game Show 2009

One of the biggest highlights at any gaming event, apart from the games, are the Booth Babes. Some of Japan’s most attractive women appeared at the Tokyo Game Show this year, in full cosplay gear. PlayTV UK Channel Re-Scan

If you live in the UK and are using PlayTV to watch and record you TV shows, you will need to re-scan your channels tomorrow. On the 30th Sept you will need to re-scan your channels to make sure you can still receive all the digital channels through your PlayTV box. Simply go to ‘Settings’ choose ‘Set-up’ then ‘Channel-scan’ and your done. If you own a freeview TV, you will also need to re-tune your TV.

Uncharted 2 Multiplayer Demo Now Open To All

Naughty Dog announced today that the multiplayer demo will be available for everyone to download on the PlayStation Store starting at 11 a.m. PST / 7pm BST. The demo has been available to those who pre-ordered the game for a few weeks now, and will continue until October 12th. Once the retail version of the game is released, all stats from the Beta server will be reset.

Square-Enix Hopes to Sell Over 6 Million Copies of Final Fantasy XIII

Square Enix is expecting high sales on their upcoming title, Final Fantasy XIII. The company is expecting global sales of over six million units, according to company CEO and president, Yoichi Wada. The executive hopes that the mammoth RPG outing will trump worldwide shipments of Square’s highly successful Dragon Quest IX, which hit Nintendo DS in Japan back in July of this year.

Naughty Dog Disables Some Twitter Functionality in Uncharted 2

If you don’t already know, Naughty Dog’s new title Uncharted 2: Among Thieves supports the micro-blogging network Twitter. Completing chapters, and playing multiplayer games posts ‘tweets’ to your Twitter account, allow your friends to follow your activity within the game. Some reviewers have had early access to the game and selected the option to update their Twitter accounts as they completed each chapter of the game. This has resulted in some Twitter feeds being updated multiple times an hour.

Gran Turismo 6 Development Will Be Faster Than GT5

Speaking with Joystiq in Japan last week, Kazunori Yamauchi, CEO of Polyphony Digital, admitted that development of Gran Turismo 6 will not be as maddeningly long as Gran Turismo 5′s. Yamauchi said :”GT5 is a title that was pretty much remade from scratch, but because we did that, the next version is actually going to be faster — the time period it’s going to be released.”
