PlayStation Store Design Revised

While everyone was busy watching the Sony Press Conference last night, the PlayStation Store for Europe and North America recieved some changes to the layout. Most of the changes appear to be cosmetic (see comparison below), but we have noticed better loading times and even a new sound when scrolling through products. We’ve drawn up a simple comparison between the old store layout and the new one to highlight the main changes.

The European PlayStation Store has also recieved a new search feature to help you find what you are alooking for. A quick search for Final Fantasy VII retrieves no results unfortunately.

I think the new store design is cool, I like it a lot better than the old one. Also that “featured area” was always the top downloads.

Maybe it has been. I normally used the EU store so I didn’t notice until now.
