As promised, Activision and studios Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games have released the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 reveal trailer (see below). The video shows off images of downtown New York City at war, England’s underground rail system being attacked, soldiers in Paris engage in a heavy battle and entire buildings in Germany being brought down to ashes.
The official trailer for Starhawk, the game from the creators of Warhawk, has been revealed finally. Starhawk is a bold new 3rd Person shooter adventure where you can change the battlefield instantly in the heat of combat. The game is set in the future where humanity’s last hope lies in the lawless frontier of space where factions battle over the universe’s most precious resource, Rift Energy.

Last week, Naughty Dog and SCEA held a press event at the PlayStation.Blog lounge at GDC 2011. The press event began with the first ever demo outside of Naughty Dog halls of UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception in stereoscopic 3D. The real meat of the press event was the unveiling of the central antagonist that will try to foil Nathan Drake and Victor Sullivan at every opportunity – meet Katherine Marlowe in the trailer below.
While players will have opportunities to be stealthy in nearly all of SOCOM: Special Forces‘ stages, select missions in the solo campaign will give users direct control of female South Korean 707th covert operations expert “Forty-Five.” Acting as the team’s primary form of reconnaissance, Forty-Five slinks into various locales under the cover of night to capture valuable intel and sabotage enemy operations.

Killzone 3 is out in stores this week, after two years of hard work by the talented developers at Guerrilla. Killzone 3 is the most intensely immersive first-person action game the PlayStation 3 has ever seen, featuring stereoscopic 3D and PlayStation Move compatibility.
The MotorStorm Apocalypse 3D trailer is now available to download from the PlayStation Store, but if you can’t wait you can view the 2D version below. The video was made to showcase the tech for the PlayStation.Blog.
A new multiplayer video of Killzone 3 has been released ahead of the games release and open beta. The new multiplayer video shows Killzone 3‘s third multiplayer map, Bilgarsk Boulevard – just one of eight different multiplayer maps in the game. The Bilgarsk Boulevard will be available to play in the open beta next month.
Following up on the announcement of Final Fantasy XIII-2 this week, Square Enix have also released the first teaser trailer for the game. Check out the trailer below, but be warned that the trailer contains minor spoilers about the previous title, if you haven’t completed playing the game yet.
