A massive update to the PlayStation Store this week, with lots of new games now available for download, including Fast & Furious: Showdown on the PS3, and Men’s Room Mayhem on the PS Vita. New PlayStation Plus content is available too, including two new additions to the Instant Game Collection. You can also find the usual content, including new DLC, avatars, themes and more.
New content is releasing on PlayStation Plus in North America later today as two new titles join the Instant Game Collection. Germinator (PS Vita) and Pinball Arcade (PS3, PS Vita, Cross-Buy Enabled) will be added to the Instant Game Collection later today, as part of this week’s PlayStation Store update. In addition, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to get discounts on a number of titles, including 25% off Metro: Last Light Season Pass and 30% off new title Men’s Room Mayhem.
Following in the steps of Europe, Knytt Underground is coming PlayStation Plus in North America tomorrow. The cross-buy game will be added to the Instant Game Collection in tomorrow’s weekly Store update, allow subscribers to download the game for free on both the PS3 and PS Vita. In addition, PlayStation Plus subscribers can also get discounts on GRID 2 (pre-order) and Metro: Last Light.
SCEA released the list of top selling titles on the PlayStation Store in April last week, revealing that Guacamelee! was the most downloaded title on both the PS3 and PS Vita. Tomb Raider was the second most downloaded title on the PS3, while new comer Defiance debuted on the chart at number 10. On the PS Vita, newly released Soul Sacrifice debuted on the chart in 2nd position.
SCEA has revealed what PlayStation Plus subscribers will be getting through the month of May in North America. The list includes three PS3 games and four PS Vita games – two of the titles are cross-buy compatible. Among the list of titles includes Sleeping Dogs for the PS3 and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift EXTEND for the PS Vita. Sleeping Dogs will be the first to be added to the Instant Game Collection as part of tomorrow’s PlayStation Store update.
Lots of new content is available on the PlayStation Store in North America this week, including Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut. Cross-buy title Zombie Tycoon II: Brainhov’s Revenge is available on the PS3 and PS Vita too, and is free to download if you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber. You can also find new DLC, PS3 themes, game videos and lots more.
Watch_Dogs on the PS3 now has an official release date, and will be coming to the console in November in North America. The release date for the PS4 version of the game will be revealed at a later date according to Ubisoft. In addition to revealing the game’s release date, Ubisoft has also released a new trailer of the game.
A number of new games are available on the US PlayStation Store this week, including movie tie-in Star Trek. PSN games God Mode and cross-play title Thomas Was Alone are also available for purchase this week. As usual, you can also find new DLC, game videos, PS3 themes and other content to download. This week, PS Plus members can download one of the most full-featured portable fighters in history: Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny. This PSP title is compatible with the PS Vita and will be available to download from the PlayStation Store in North America after tomorrow’s weekly update. The Spring Fever sale also continues this week with PlayStation Plus subscribers getting discount on new indie title Thomas Was Alone.
