Couldn’t attend gamescom 2010 this year? Visit the expo virtually in PlayStation Home instead. The gamescom space will be available for two week and features the latest game trailers, multiplayer games and more. I other Home related updates, you can now find MAG personal spaces from Estates and more Star Wars furniture.
Sony Online Entertainment revealed a new trailer for their upcoming PS3 MMO, DC Universe Online. The trailer (found below) reveals some of the over-the-top combat, as well as the powers and movement sets that players can choose from in making themselves the next great legend in the DC Universe – either as its savior or its destroyer.
With the success of Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2, Insomniac Games have announced the third title in the series. Insomniac Games announced the third title at the PlayStation press conference at gamescom earlier this week in Cologne, Germany. While not a lot of detail was given away, they did reveal a live-action trailer (see below).

SCEE has confirmed that it will be holding its gamescom press conference on Tuesday August 17th at 5pm UK time, right after EA’s conference on the same day. Sony has also revealed a preliminary list of games that will be showcased at the expo (which can be found below).
