Multiple sources have confirmed that the PlayStation Phone release is imminent, though they failed to agree on an exact release date or time frame. The so-called “Playstation Phone” will be shown at next month’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, alongside a new portable game player, the report says.

New Killzone 3 Multiplayer Video

A new multiplayer video of Killzone 3 has been released ahead of the games release and open beta. The new multiplayer video shows Killzone 3‘s third multiplayer map, Bilgarsk Boulevard – just one of eight different multiplayer maps in the game. The Bilgarsk Boulevard will be available to play in the open beta next month.
US PlayStation Plus Update for February 1st 2011

Sony has revealed the contents of the next PlayStation Plus update for North America, due for release on February 1st 2011. The first update for February will include an auto download of a demo of Tales from Space: About a Blob, 50% discounts off both versions of Fat Princess, and 20% of Kung-Fu LIVE. Killzone 3 Open Beta Coming To The PSN

Before Killzone 3 is released later next month, you will be able to experience the game in the Open Beta. The beta will be available between the 3rd and the 15th of Feb 2011 from the PlayStation Store. This Beta will offer you exclusive early access to the MP05 ‘Frozen Dam’ multiplayer level from Killzone 3, including all three online multiplayer modes – Guerrilla Warfare, Warzone and Operations.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 Trailer Revealed

PSP System Software Update v6.37 Available Now

A new PSP Firmware is now available to download using the System Update feature on the device. Firmware version v6.37 is a minor update that improves system software stability during use of some features. It may also include some sort of code to block the recent hacking of the PSPgo, but this is speculation for now.

I haven’t even finished playing Final Fantasy XIII yet, and already SQUARE ENIX has announced the sequel. Final Fantasy XIII-2 is scheduled for release next winter and will feature a new story that stems from the previous title as well as a evolved battle system.

VUDU Adds Stereoscopic 3D Movie Streaming
