A new firmware update was released yesterday, bringing the current system software to version v3.73. In order to download PS3 system software version 3.73, you will need a minimum 186MB of free space on either the PS3 Hard Disk Drive (System Update) or on removable storage media.
Last night the first Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception trailer was shown off at five select AMC Theaters from coast-to-coast, and today we have it here for you to view online. The official PlayStation Store for PlayStation Certified devices launches today. It is available immediately on Sony Corporation’s “Sony Tablet S.” At launch, 10 PSone games will be available on the PlayStation Store for €4.99 / £3.99 each. Sony’s Playstation Vita has long been slated for a December release in Japan, but Sony has just announced at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco that their new portable will be hitting shelves in North America and in Europe on February 22 2012. We already knew the PSVita was expected in early 2012, but it’s good to get a confirmed date.

Starting today, Uncharted 3 is getting a a revamped map in the Multiplayer Experience. The Facility map was first revealed at the New York Comic Con, and will put your new skills to the test on a fresh new level. If you haven’t got access to the Multiplayer Experience yet, you can get in on the action from participating Subway restaurants in North America.
ModNation Racers on the title has finally received an official name from the developers. The PlayStation Vita title will be officially called ModNation Racers: Road Trip. It has been just over a year since the original launch of Square Enix MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, and during that time players haven’t had to fork out once for a subscription. The game is riddled with bugs and design flaws, making the title a big catastrophe for Square-Enix. Over the next year, the game will make a transition to Final Fantasy XIV 2.0, featuring a number of game-changing updates and visual improvements.
