The PlayStation 3D display is now available to purchase in North America (it was released over the weekend, in case you missed it). With so many great 3D-compatible titles recently launched, there’s no shortage of 3D entertainment on the PS3 system this holiday season. And if you don’t already have a 3D display, the PlayStation 3D display is the perfect entry-level display for all your 3D entertainment needs.
Sony has announced the UMD Passport program, allowing owners of PSP UMD games to play their games on the PlayStation Vita at discounted prices. So far the program has only been confirmed for Japan, but it’s likely that the program will be extended to international PSP customers as well.
You can now view Episode 8 of Access online. This week, the Game of the Week is THQ’s open-world gang ‘em up, Saints Row: The Third. Then make sure you check out some of PS3‘s most current blockbusters, including Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and Street Fighter X Tekken.
Ubisoft has released the launch trailer for fourth Assassin’s Creed title, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. The game brings with it the final chapter of Ezio de Auditore Firenze’s story. Look out for the game release in stores next week, on November 15th 2011. Lets hope you have enough cash left over after purchasing Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, Modern Warfare 3, and Battlefield 3…
If you can’t get enough of Drake and the gang, you can now download the soundtrack to Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and the two previous titles from the PlayStation Store. The Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception original soundtrack is available now for $9.99 on the US PlayStation Store or you can purchase the physical version in-store from retailers on 11.15.2011.
We have the official launch for Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for you to enjoy. The title is available for purchase in North America already, but will be coming to the UK and Europe in February next year. Check out how the past MGS titles have received the HD treatment in this all new collection.
Look out for a good 11 hours to downtime to the PlayStation Network next week. The PlayStation Network will be unavailable on November 18th 2011 for approximately 11 hours, between 16:00PM and 3:00AM. As usual, you will be unable to sign-in to any PlayStation Network services.

Sony updated the Music Unlimited application on the PS3 last week, bringing some great new feature asked by the community. Cosmetically, you’ll probably first notice that Sony’s new branding has finally landed on PS3. More importantly, however, the new app gives you added control over how you listen to and access music.
