Have you seen this week’s US PlayStation Store update? Take a closer look and you will see that Sony has made all the Uncharted 2 DLC completely free to download. If you own the game but not the DLC, why not download the lot and earn yourselves some of those missing trophies.
SCEE have just confirmed that Lightbox Interactive’s Starhawk is a Blu-ray only title. The game is already available in North America and parts of Europe, and will be available in the UK on Friday. In addition, SCEE has confirmed that Starhawk will some with the original PSOne Warhawk title as a PSN download.
Starhawk is now available in North America, and will be out later this week Europe. Unfortunately, the game is only available in stores and not via the PlayStation Network. In addition to the game’s release, LightBox Interactive and Sony Santa Monica have announced that all Starhawk Map Packs will be available for free when they are released – the first of which is already in the works.
Sony has announced a new “Crystal White” PlayStation Vita for Japan. The new model is due on June 28th 2012, and will be followed by a Hatsune Miku version on August 30th. The price for the 3G and Wi-fi versions will be the same as the original black PlayStation Vita.

Heads up on yet more PlayStation Network maintenance this month. The PlayStation Network will be offline for maintenance starting on Wednesday 16th May from 16.00 until Thursday 17th May at 00.00 BST. During this time, PSN services will be unavailable, including the PlayStation Store and Account Management sections.
Pre-orders for Call of Duty: Black Ops II on Amazon have already achieved more than three times the orders for the first Black Ops game in the first twenty-four hours, according to the company’s PR dept. Other retailers have yet to comment on their pre-order numbers, but the game is already looking like it’s going to be one of this year’s biggest titles.
After years of hard work on Starhawk, the game has finally gone gold and will be on store shelves in PAL regions from 9th May. To celebrate, beta testers will get two exclusive items as a way of saying “thank you” from the developers. The first item, The Hand of the Founder, will be awarded to anyone who played the beta.
The PlayStation 3’s first massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) celebrated it’s third anniversary over the weekend. For those that haven’t jumped into the action, Free Realms is a free 3D online world for all ages where you can do whatever you want, whenever you want.
Sony has published another post detailing more maintenance to the PlayStation Network. The maintenance is scheduled for May 3rd 2012 (this Thursday) between 05:00 and 11:00 BST, but will be limited to the games listed below. The rest of the PSN will be unaffected.
