New content is available on the European PlayStation Store today, with nine new PS4 games available, including Gravity Rush Remastered and Not A Hero. You can also find a handful of new PS3 and PS Vita games. February 2016’s Instant Game Collection is live today too, with six new games available to download for free for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

PlayStation Plus Line-up for February 2016 Revealed

Sony has revealed the six new games joining the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection in February 2016. The new games will be available from February 2nd, 2016, and include Grid Autosport (PS3), Lemmings Touch (PS Vita) and Nom Nom Galaxy (PS4).
Sony Announces Formation of New PlayStation Company

Sony has formed a new company that will be come the headquarters for everything PlayStation. Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC (SIE) will be based out of San Mateo, California, United States, and “joins the forces of both Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. and Sony Network Entertainment LLC.”
US PlayStation Store’s Top Downloads of 2016

SCEA has released the PlayStation Store Chart showing not only the top downloaded games in December 2015, but also the top downloaded games across the entire year. In December 2015, Star Wars Battlefront was the top downloaded PS4 game, but overall, Call of Duty: Black Ops III was the most downloaded PS4 game in 2015.
Rumor Alert: PlayStation VR Priced at Approximately £350

Earlier this month, it was announced that the Oculus Rift would cost £499 in the UK, which lead to speculation on pricing for Sony’s PlayStation VR headset. Today, Swiss retailer Microspot has listed the PlayStation VR for 498 Swiss francs, which is roughly around €455 or £350.
London Mayor Gets Minecraft-ified to Announce London Games Festival

The London Mayor, Boris Johnson, has announced a brand new, large scale gaming event to rival Gamescom, E3 and the Tokyo Games Show. The London Games Festival will take place between from 1st to 10th April 2016, and will include 15 official events, across 10 locations throughout the capital.
23 New Titles Added to PlayStation Now, More Coming Next Month

Sony has updated PlayStation Now in Europe, adding 23 new PS3 games to the service. New games include both Borderlands games, Resident Evil Chronicles, the first two BioShock games and lots more. In addition, Sony has listed the 11 new games that will be joining the service in February, which includes Batman and Lego games.
PS4 Sales Peaked at 5.7 Million Units Worldwide During 2015 Holiday Season

Sony has announced that the PS4 sold over 5.7 million units in the run-up to Christmas in 2015. As of January 3rd 2016, this means that 35.9 million PS4s have been sold worldwide. Sony also revealed that PlayStation Plus membership has increased by 60% compared to the same period last year.
The PlayStation Network is Currently Down

We’re only a few days into 2016 and already the PSN is experiencing issues. A message on the PlayStation website stated that the PSN would be unavailable between 4:30pm to 5:30pm GMT, but it’s now well past the maintenance window and the network is still down.
Full PlayStation Plus Line-up for January 2016 Revealed

The full PlayStation Plus line-up for January 2016 has been revealed, following a partial reveal by Sony earlier. In addition to Hardware: Rivals and Grim Fandango Remastered on the PS4, the January Instant Game Collection also includes Dragon Age: Origins (PS3) and Nihilumbra (PS Vita).
