Sony added Facebook functionality to the PS3 in Firmware 3.10, allowing you to publish trophy information and PlayStation Store purchases on your profile. Soon, Buzz! Quiz World will be patched to include in-game publishing – the first PS3 title to do so. The game will be patched on March 22nd and will work with the existing Facebook settings on your PS3.

God of War Collection Announced in Europe

Now that God of War III is out, Sony has announced the God of War Collection and Trilogy Edition across the PAL Territories. The ‘God of War Collection’ will be available for €39.99 / £24.99 (RRP) and will be available from April 28th 2010. If you haven’t got God of War III yet, you can get the complete trilogy boxset for €89.99 / £64.99.
Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes from Liberty City Trophies

When the GTA IV Episodes from Liberty City expansion is released, 15 new trophies will be added to the game. Five new trophies can be unlocked in The Lost and Damned, and ten new trophies in The Ballad of Gay Tony. Check out the list of new trophies below.
54% of Final Fantasy XIII Sales are for PS3 in UK

Final Fantasy XIII has taken the UK by storm. Not only has the title topped the all-format video game chart, it has also become the fastest selling game this year, overtaking Battlefield: Bad Company 2. As for sales between the PS3 and Xbox 360, the PS3 has gained more sales but only slightly. Although specific numbers are not availabe, the PS3 accounts for 54% of the six-figure sales in the first week.
Alien vs. Predator Threads Coming to PlayStation Home

SEGA Europe has announced that full outfits from Aliens vs Predator are now available on PlayStation Home Thread Store for the PS3. These costumes, a male and female version for each species in the game, are offered as complete packages, but also available to download separately. These downloads are accessible for a limited time, and will be taken out of the Thread Store on the 31st of March.
MAG Patch v1.04 Details

MAG was recently patched to version v1.04, fixing a number of issues and server enhancements. The patch weighs in just under 40MB and contains a total of seven fixes for the game. Fixes include tuning of the sniper rifles to be less effective out of scope-mode, anti-cheat improvements on the server and fixes for collisions. Check out the complete list of fixes below.
PlayStation 3 Passes 11 Million Units Mark in US

According to the latest NPD figures, the PlayStation 3 has now sold approximately 11,761,000 units in the US till the end of February. The Xbox 360, on the otherhand, has broken the 19 million mark with approximately 19,383,900 units sold. At the end of last April, the Xbox 360 had double the install base of the PS3, with 14.9 million 360s and only 7.5 million PS3s in the NPD.
Download God of War III Blood & Metal EP for Free

The God of War III soundtrack, Blood & Metal, was supposed to be exclusive to the Ultimate Edition of the game, but it actually available to download for free from the God of War website (be quick, download links below). In addition, the complete God of War Trilogy soundtrack can also be downloaded for free. Is this a bug on the website or a reward for dedicated God of War fans?
Final Fantasy XIII DVD vs. Blu-ray Loading Times

Now that Final Fantasy XIII has been out for a few weeks now, it was just a matter of time before a comparison video between the Xbox 360 version and PS3 version of the game would appear. We’ve found a short little video detailing the differences between the loading times for the two versions. The Xbox 360 version of the game is on three DVD discs, while the PS3 version is on a single dual-layer Blu-ray disc.
