John McLaughlin, producer on the new PlayStation Move brawler The Fight: Lights Out, has released a Developer Diary Video talking about the upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive. The game is currently in alpha state but the developers have done a good job in conducted a ton of motion capture to ensure that every punch, every hit reaction, every dirty move and every hard-hitting knockout makes the player feel right in the thick of the action.

US PlayStation Store Update Day Changing Too

We recently reported that the day on which the PlayStation Store is updated for Europe is moving to Wednesdays from May 2010. It has now been confirmed that the US PlayStation Store update day is moving too, but to Tuesdays from May 2010. The news was revealed in this week’s episode (4/15) of PULSE.
US PlayStation Video Store Update for April 16th 2010

Time for this week’s US PlayStation Video Store update. This week’s Deal of the Week (up to 50% off!) has a RACING theme, so check out Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Rick Bobby and Driven. New to the Store is Marvel’s Ironman Extremis and there is a free episode of the new CMT series, Danger Coast. Finally, the HD version of the full UFC 112 event is coming to PlayStation Store on Saturday.
PlayStation 3 3D Line-Up Confirmed

Sony have confirmed that the first set of 3D games for the PlayStation 3 will be available June 2010. In addition, the 3D firmware update for the console will also be released in June, though the exact release date is yet to be announced. To mark the occasion, Sony will be giving away 3D games and Blu-ray videos along with the HX800 3DTV, Sony’s first consumer TV set.
PlayStation Store Update for April 15th 2010

This week on the PlayStation Store, FirstPlay Episode 002 is available to download in the UK and a number of new dynamic themes have hit the store. The GTA: Episode from Liberty City DLC is available to download from both the US and European Stores as are a number of new Minis titles. There is also new DLC for titles including Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Dead to Rights and Just Cause 2.
PlayStation Home Gets New Personal Spaces Today

PlayStation Home is being updated today with lots of new content. The Ghostbusters Firehouse personal space, which we previously announced two weeks ago, will be releasing this week along with the Neptune Suite personal space. The Neptune Suite personal space is situated deep under water, and comes complete with the multiplayer Blast Zone mini-game, and the rather puzzling Scramble.
Major PlayTV Update Due Towards The End of 2010

PlayTV hasn’t been updated in a while, but James Thorpe, PlayStation Network Product Manager, as given us a head-up that a major update will be coming by the end of the year. Testing of the new update has already begun but no details about what to expect were revealed except for one particular feature. Thorpe did tease that other “great enhancements to PlayTV and brand new features will also be included in the update.”
FirstPlay Episode 2 Details

The second episode of FirstPlay is released tomorrow, and is packed full of new HD content and a free PSP Minis title. Episode 002 features a review of Super Street Fighter IV alongside previews of explosive racer Split/Second: Velocity and dog ‘em up Dead To Rights: Retribution. The PlayStation Network Highlights include a countdown of your best FIFA goals and a first look at Shinji Mikami’s new shooter Vanquish in the screenshot galleries. GTA: Episodes from Liberty City Now Available from PlayStation Store

The highly-anticipated, long-awaited release of Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City (including both The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC packs) for PlayStation 3 is now available to download from the PlayStation Store. Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City is two complete game experiences as episodes set in Liberty City: The Lost and Damned, and The Ballad of Gay Tony.
UK PlayStation Video Store Update for April 14th 2010

This week’s UK PlayStation Video Store update was slightly delayed for reasons unknown. The update is finally live and is the biggest update to the video store since it was first launched. A total of 26 new movies are available to rent and 39 new movies are available to own this week. Check out the complete list of new titles below.
