Firmware v3.50 will be available to download next week, and will come with 3D support for Blu-Ray movies. For those that have purchased 3D TVs, the firmware update will be available to download on September 21st 2010. The new firmware update will effectively make all 38 million PS3s worldwide compatible with 3D Blu-Ray discs.
Devil May Cry was officially announced for the PlayStation 3 at the Tokyo Game Show by Capcom. The title has been reborn as DmC, and is being co-developed with British-based Heavenly Sword developer Ninja Theory. The game is still shrouded in mystery, with few details relating to the setting, the combat mechanic, the demonic enemies, or a release date.
On the PlayStation Store this week you can find discounts on various titles include PAIN, available until September 29th 2010. There are five new downloadable games available, two of which are Move compatible ready for this week’s launch. You can also find a selection of PlayStation Move demos (some of which can also be found in the Move starter pack).

The US PlayStation Store this week has been updated with new downloadable games, a number of playable demos (including a few PlayStation Move demos) and new game bundles. You can also find new Avatars, game videos, XMB themes and more.
Episode 24 of FirstPlay hits the UK PlayStation Store this Wednesday and comes with an exclusive Top Gun XMB theme to celebrate the launch of the PSN title. Episode 24 also features a review of genre-twisting RPG sequel Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep for PSP, and a review of slacker superhero hit Kick-Ass on Blu-ray.
PSN Title Hustle Kings will be getting a major update soon adding a whole new experience to the title. The next update to the title will add support for stereoscopic 3D and, improving the graphics and sense of immersion to a whole new level. In addition to 3D support, you will also be able to use the new PlayStation Move controllers.

SCEA has revealed the list of exclusive content for next week’s PlayStation Plus update, which includes three free games, early access to the Sword & Soldiers demo and more.
The PlayStation Move is out to own later this week, and Sony have released some new TV adverts to promote the new controller. The new adverts were shown off over the weekend in the UK during Big Brother and in the Everton v Manchester United football game.
