Sony has confirmed that their press conference at the 2011 Tokyo Games Show will be held on September 14th 2011, but a time has yet to be confirmed. Sony’s keynote speech will be a day after that of Nintendo’s, and its expected that the PlayStation Vita will headline the event.

ICO & Shadow Of The Colossus Collection Final Box Art Revealed

The remastered ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Collection launch on September 27th, and as a special treat the final boxart and inside packaging for the collection has been revealed. In addition to full 1080p HD, stereoscopic 3D support, and 7.1 surround sound, this re-release contains a ton of exclusive bonus footage and behind-the-scenes content.
LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Patch Now Available

A new LittleBigPlanet 2 patch is now available for download by booting up the game. Patch version v1.06 weighs in at a hefty 567.07 MB, and includes PlayStation Move support and a number of tweaks to the game. A full list of changes can be found below.

Driver: San Francisco Online Pass Fee Removed

In response to some erroneously printed Uplay Passport codes that affected Driver: San Francisco players in North America, Ubisoft has decided to just waive the online pass fee and make the game’s multiplayer component free to everybody.

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Beta Open To All PSN Users Tomorrow

If you are not a PlayStation Plus subscriber than you’ve probably missed out on playing the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations beta for the past week, but not for long. From tomorrow at 10:00am, the multiplayer beta opens up to all PSN users. Be sure to download the game from the PlayStation Store soon as the beta ends this Sunday.

PlayStation Network is offline for scheduled maintenance from 17:00 until 19:00 on Thursday 8 September 2011, BST. The PlayStation Store and other network services will be down for the two-hour maintenance window. If you wish to play online during the maintenance, please ensure you sign in to PSN before 17:00 on Thursday 8 September 2011.
Sony Says PSN ‘More Secure’ Than Ever

Sony CEO, Howard Stringer, has made a short speech at the IFA Electronics Show in Berlin, talking about recent events including the PSN Hacking back in April. Stringer announced that the “PSN is more secure and better than ever”, having more than “3 million new customers since the network came back online.”
