Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) has confirmed the date on which DC Universe Online becomes free-to-play, as originally announced last month. Originally pencilled in for this month, DC Universe Online will be switching to the free-to-play model as of November 1st.
If you were paying close attention to Jack Tretton (head of SCEA) when he took the stage at E3 this year, you may remember him talking about the inclusion of DICE’s classic shooter, Battlefield 1943 on every Blu-Ray copy of Battlefield 3. However, this doesn’t seem to be the actual case. Players that picked up Battlefield 3 over the past week have noticed that Battlefield 1943 doesn’t seem to be on their disc.
A new episode of Access is now available online for your viewing pleasure. Episode 6 features Uncharted 3 as Game of the Week. Konami has announced that the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will be release on February 3rd 2012 for Xbox 360 & PS3 in Europe. The collection will contain Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, MGS2: Sons of Liberty, MGS 3: Snake Eater and MGS: Peace Walker. Check out the trailer below in the mean time.

The PlayStation Network will be undergoing scheduled maintenance in the early hours of Thursday morning, between the hours of 02:00 and 08:00 UK time. As usual, during this period the PSN will be unavailable, meaning you won’t be able to connect to the network or any related services.
The Uncharted 3 Multipler Experience is coming to a close very shortly. Less than a week remains until Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception hits stores so make the most of the last few days of the Multiplayer Experience. Battlefield 3 was released on the PS3 today and the team over at DICE have revealed the complete trophy list for the game. The game has a total of 38 trophies, but you can expect more trophies to be added in DLC content. Don’t forget that PS3 gamers will be able to purchase, download and play the upcoming expansion pack Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand one week early.
