LittleBigPlanet has hit another massive milestone this week. The LBP franchise now has more than 6 million user-generated games and levels created by fans and uploaded online to the PlayStation Network.
You can expect more PlayStation Network maintenance this week, starting on Thursday (February 2nd 2012). The network will be down between 14.00PM until 08.00AM on Friday 3rd of February. As usual, all PSN services will be unavailable during this time. Users who attempt to sign in after maintenance begins may receive the site notification page.

Twisted Metal has gone gold in North America – on schedule for launch on Valentine’s Day 2012. To celebrate the good news, every copy of Twisted Metal will include a voucher to download the Sweet Tooth Outcast Multiplayer skin for Starhawk on May 8th.
PlayStation Network will be offline for routine scheduled maintenance on Thursday, January 19th from approximately 8am until 9pm PST. That’s a massive 13 hours of downtime. As usual, PlayStation Network services will be unavailable during this time. Users who are already signed into their account on PlayStation Network before the start of the maintenance should be able to stay signed in to their online session, but will not be able to access any of the services listed below.

You may be happy to learn that Starhawk will be hitting store shelves May 8th. In addition, the Public Beta opens today so you can see what the game has to offer before the game’s release. A new DLC pack is making it’s way to Gran Turismo 5 very soon – 18th January to be exact. This new pack has two components, the first of which features brand new cars, and will be priced at €5.99/£4.79. The second component of the new content is the Speed Test Pack, which will be priced at €3.99/£3.19. In addition to the new DLC, Functionality Update v2.03 will also be released.
