UK retail giant GAME.co.uk has lifted the lid on an exclusive Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Veteran Edition pack. Available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the hotly anticipated shooter, the Veteran Edition will set you back a whopping £119.99 and includes the Hardened Edition of the title (that is, an artbook, a card to download the original Call of Duty and a fancy steel book case) along with a gift box and Captain Soap MacTavish figure. The Veteran Edition costs the same as the Prestige Edition, but you don’t get the cool Night Vision Goggles.
It’s no exaggeration to say that punters will be spoilt for choice come Modern Warfare 2’s launch on November 10, with no less than four variations of the shooter available for purchase – Standard, Hardened, Prestige (exclusive to HMV in the UK) and now Veteran (though Xbox 360 owners also have a fifth option in the form of the Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition Super Elite Xbox 360 console. Try saying that five times fast).
