State of Play returns this week, with two back-to-back broadcasts. The State of Play broadcast will take place this Thursday, 3rd September 2026, followed by a new episode of State of Play Japan.
The first State of Play broadcast featuring updates and announcements from PlayStation Studios and third-party partners. It will conclude with an extended look at the vast world of Final Fantasy VII Revelation from at Square Enix.
Immediately following is a new episode of State of Play Japan, hosted by Yuki Kaji. State of Play Japan will offer deep dives into upcoming games from game studios in Japan and Asia, including new gameplay, announcements, and more.
