Sony has released a new minor firmware update for the PS5, updating the system software to v26.04-13.42.00. Just like the previous update, this new version simply improves system performance and stability.
The previous update, PS5 System Software v26.02-13.00.00, added an enhanced version of PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) for the PS5 Pro as well as a new screensaver mode for the Welcome Hub called “Showcase Mode”.
