Staring tomorrow, 20th May 2026, the price of PlayStation Plus Essential for non-annual subscribers will be getting more expensive. Annual subscribers, and those on a Extra or Premium subscription are unaffected at time time.
The new prices will see a 1-month subscription now costing $10.99 USD / €9.99 EUR / £7.99 GBP (an increase of £1 per month), while a 3-month subscription will increase to $27.99 USD / €27.99 EUR / £21.99 GBP (an increase of £2).
The announcement was made on X, with Sony citing “ongoing market conditions” as the reason for the price increase:
