Sony has officially rolled out a new firmware update for the PS4, updating the system software to version v13.50. While the official release notes mentions changes to messages and usability, the update also blocks security loopholes.
Users must install this mandatory firmware update to access the PlayStation Network, including online gameplay and the PlayStation Store.
