Sony is working on an update that will allow the PS5’s DualSense controller to pair with multiple devices. The update, which will release later this year, will enhance the pairing functionality of the controller. It means you will no longer need to re-pair the controller every time you want to switch devices.
If you use the DualSense controller with multiple devices like a smartphone, tablet, or PC/Mac, this update will simplify your experience. You won’t need to manually re-pair the controller when switching devices.
Exactly how the device switching will work has not been revealed, but it could involve pressing a button combination. A firmware update for the controller will enable this functionality in a future update.
