The PlayStation Portal has received its another firmware update. The update is a minor one, with the release notes indicating that system performance has been improved, along with improved usability on some screens.
You can update your PlayStation Portal by going to [Settings] > [System] > [System Software] > [Update System Software]. The update is required, so you will need to update the software before you can connect to a PS5.
