The PlayStation Portal has received its first minor firmware update since the remote player device was launched on 15th November 2023. The update is a minor one, with the release notes indicating that system performance has been improved.
You can update your PlayStation Portal by going to [Settings] > [System] > [System Software] > [Update System Software]. The update is required, so you will need to update the software before you can connect to a PS5.
