Another Warner Bros. is being delayed in to 2022, the company has announced. In a statement posted to Twitter, Gotham Knights will now be releasing in 2022. The reason for the delay is to give the development team more time to deliver the best possible experience for players.
The other Warner Bros. game recently delayed into 2022 was Hogwarts Legacy. Neither of the delays mention COVID-19 as a factor, but it’s likely to be part of the reason for delaying both games. The actual release date for Gotham Knights will now be released closer to the time, but the game will be coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC.
The statement reads:
We are giving the game more time to deliver the best possible experience for players. Thank you to our amazing fans for your tremendous support of Gotham Knights. We look forward to showcasing more of the game in the coming months.
