Fortnite Update v15.10 Adds 120 FPS to PS5

Fortnite has received another update this week, adding further improvements to the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game. The new update adds 120 FPS support for both the Battle Royale and Creative modes of the game, which can be enabled from the Video Settings.

Of course, you will need a TV or monitor capable of showing 120Hz to make use of the new mode. With 120 FPS enabled, the resolution of the game will be capped at 1440p rather than the usual 4K, and this will be upscaled to 4K on the PS5 as it does not natively support 1440p.

The update has also further optimised the game on Xbox Series S, so that the standard 60 FPS mode now has a maximum resolution of 1200p, up from 1080p. With 120 FPS, the resolution will be capped to 1080p.
