The PS5 further improves the trophy functionality of the PS4, a new video has revealed. In addition to taking a screenshot when a trophy is unlocked, the PS5 also creates a video of the moment before and after the trophy pops.
The video captured by the PS5 shows a banner across the bottom of the screen as you approach the unlock point, and then the trophy appears, complete with new unlock sound.
Better still, it looks like the PS5 actually captures the trophy popup, which the PS4 blocked when streaming or recording your gameplay.
