Technically, yes. The DualShock 4 controller does work with the PS5, but only with PS4 games. PS5 games will not work with the DualShock 4 controller and you will need to use the PS5’s DualSense controller instead.
We believe that PS5 games should take advantage of the new capabilities and features we’re bringing to the platform, including the features of DualSense wireless controller.
