Sony Reveals What PS5 Physical Games Will Look Like

Sony has revealed another small details about the upcoming PS5, this time, showing you what games will looks like in physical form. Like the PS4, PS5 games will retain the blue cover, but featuring a black and white PS5 label to match the console.

The first physical game displayed is Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales, shown below. You’ll start seeing the new game cases in stores when the PS5 launches later in 2020, for which we still don’t have a exact release date.

There are recent suggestions that PS5 games will cost more than PS4 games, with NBA 2K21 costing $69.99 on the PS5, but a lower price of $59.99 on current-generation consoles – an increase of $10.

NBA 2K21 will also cost you more if you want to play on both generations, with no free upgrade path for gamers. Instead, you can choose to buy the $99.99 “Mamba Forever Edition,” which includes cross-generation copies.
