Guerrilla Games and Sony have had remarkable success with new IP Horizon Zero Dawn. The game has sold 2.6 million copies in the first two weeks, making it the best-selling new first-party IP on the PS4, and Guerrilla Games’ biggest game launch.
Guerrilla’s Managing Director Herman Hulst said, “This is only the beginning of Aloy’s story and our exploration of the world of Horizon Zero Dawn, with the team already hard at work on an expansion to the story.”
It’s not know whether the “expansion” Hulst refers to will be in the form of DLC, or a sequel. Look out for more news on that in the coming months.
