The official release date for Microsoft’s Xbox One was revealed today, through MajorNelson’s blog, revealing a release date right in between the PS4’s North American and European release dates. The Xbox One will be releasing worldwide on November 22nd, just after the PS4’s North American release on November 15th, and just before the PS4’s European release on November 29th.
The one week different between the release dates is not likely to make much of a different in terms of sales, as long as both companies have enough consoles to meet demand. The PS4 is, however, launching in more territories over the two release dates than the Xbox One. Microsoft has delayed the launch of the Xbox One in a number of European countries until March 2014.
