Sony has managed to do a good job in staggering all it’s major announcements over the the last several month, revealing information about the PS4 in stages, and Gamescom is no different. According to Sony’s Gamescom article, the company will be revealing “release plans for PlayStation 4, as well as updates on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.,” which means a proper release date for the upcoming console.
Sony’s Press Conference will take place next Tuesday at 6:00pm BST – you can find details on how to stream the event live here. New PS4, PS3 and PS Vita games will be announced at the press conference along with more details about the upcoming console itself.
Hopefully, Sony won’t follow suit with Microsoft and delay the console’s launch in parts of Europe. Current rumours indicate that the PS4 is expected to launch in October.
