Final Fantasy X & X-2 Will Support Cross-Play

July 8th, 2013 / Niraj Shah / News

Square-Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD will both support cross-play across the PS3 and PS Vita, allowing players to seamlessly continue their game from the PS3 to the PS Vita (and vice versa). The game’s director, Yoshinori Kitase, confirmed cross-play support at the Japan Expo 2013 held in Paris.

The PS3 version will include both games on a single disc, while the PS Vita versions of the game will be sold separately. Final Fantasy X HD and Final Fantasy X-2 HD are due out on PS3 and Vita sometime later this year, and will include a new 30-minute ending sequence.

Cross Play, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2
