The Last Guardian may be forgotten but it’s not completely dead yet. According to a couple of US-based journalists on Twitter just now (including Game Informer’s Jim Reilly) a representative for Sony has confirmed that the game is still alive, but that there’s “nothing new to report at this time.”
The news comes into light after there were reports that “The Last Guardian” trademark was updated to “Abandoned”, but Sony later clarified that they have applied to renew the trademark.
The timing seems a bit peculiar however. Could Sony be planning to reveal more details on the game at Gamescom next week? We will have to wait and see…
