Square-Enix President Yoichi Wada has this morning denied rumours started by Kotaku that said Final Fantasy XIII Versus had been cancelled. Wada says “someone is spreading a false rumor about Versus being canceled” and that the game is very much still in development.
“It seems someone is spreading a false rumor about Versus being canceled,” he said. “Heh, just a few moments ago a regularly scheduled meeting for Versus ended.”
Lets hope we see some new gameplay footage or even a demo to backup claims.
