Sony Removes “Everybody’s Tennis” from PlayStation Store

Sony has removed Everybody’s Tennis as well as MotorStorm Arctic Edge from the PlayStation Store after it was discovered that homebrew applications could be loaded onto the PlayStation Vita using an exploit. The homebrew loader, known as VHBL (Vita Half Byte Loader), uses a SAVEDATA exploit with these two games to load other homebrew applications.

The developer of the homebrew loader states “VHBL R137 is not compatible of running ISO and or CSO, It’s only intended to run homebrew only, Is no way compatible of running any ISO and or CSO nor with there ever be a ISO loader for VHBL R137.” But it does open up the possibility for someone else to create a ISO/CSO loader.

As a precaution, Sony have removed these two games from the PlayStation Store until the vulnerability can be fixed. If you have purchased either of these two games, you will no longer see it in your Download List.
