Ubisoft Price Uplay Online Pass

Ubisoft’s version of the PSN Pass to access online multiplayer content has been priced in a press release from the company. Uplay Passport is, according to the statement, “a new program designed to provide players with access to bonus content, exclusive offers, and online multiplayer play.”

The service will work along side the existing in-game Uplay service seen in games like Assassin’s Creed. The Uplay pass will cost £7.99 – allow those who purchase second-hand games to go online. The Uplay pass will be included for free in new games, as a one-time code to unlock the game’s online features.

The Upass can be purchased from the PlayStation Store should the second-hand game you’ve purchases has an expired code. The pass for Driver San Francisco will offer “exclusive bonus content” as well as the ability to play online, much like Codemasters did with DiRT 3.
