Currently, downloading a patch for your favourite game can be a little annoying. You have to wait for the patch to download and install before you can get playing. A rumor suggests that Sony is working on a new feature for a future firmware update what allows gamers to download the patch in the background while enjoying the game.
TheSixthAxis reports off the record that they’ve got word that this will change via a future firmware update. For now, this is considered as a rumor. Naturally, Sony doesn’t comment on rumors or speculation so we will have to wait until the next update to see if this is true.
