Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been patched on the PS3 to version 1.09. The patch, which weighs in at around 15mb fixes a number of issues including the care package glitches in the game and extra measures to prevent experience point hacking.
Changelog:
- Care Package, Emergency Airdrop, and Sentry Gun marker grenades sprint speed normalized.
- Fix for “infinite care package” exploit.
- Sentry Guns: Improved placement detection, preventing cases of Sentry Guns inside geometry.
- Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s.
- Fixes to prevent various XP hacks (including the prevention of negative XP)
I still have to buy this game, haha.

I think the only reason I want it is for MP. Hahaha, I’m not much of a war game person, but I do like the online play.
@TheFreak7 The MP is good, though i can’t really tell how different it is from COD4’s MP. Of course you have different perks and kill streaks bring in different re-inforcements [like a harrier instead of a ‘copter]. I tend to become bored of extended MP play though. Most of my play time with MW2 was in SP and Co-op [which is very cool].
I was surprised with BioShock 2’s MP mode, pretty well done and fun to play. I would highly recommend this game for both SP and MP.
