Guitar Hero 6 has been confirmed to be in development, but not by publishers Activision. Tesla‘s guitarist, Dave Rude, has confirmed that their single, Modern Day Cowboy, will be a track on Guitar Hero 6. Guitar Hero 6 has yet to be officially announced by Activision, but it’s no surprise really.
“Oh – by the way – ‘Modern Day Cowboy’ is going to be on Guitar Hero 6. […] I think it’s a good thing. Even if people don’t learn to play guitar, it’s exposing them to all sorts of cool guitar-based music that they wouldn’t have ever heard otherwise.”
Rude noted the song was one of three suggestions the band made to Activision when they were pursued to be included.
