If you missed Sony’s press conference, we have a minute-by-minute summary for you below. Some great announcement were made including several new exclusive games including Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, ModNation Racers, Final Fantasy XIV and more. Sony also showed-off their own version of the Wiimote, only it’s way better and is expected in 2010. Sony has some great things planned for the PlayStation 3 and PSP this year and through out next. Another exclusive PlayStation 3 title announced: ModNation Racers. Follows LBP’s theme of “Play, Create, Share”. A kart racing game where you can create the player and cars.

Live demo of game is shown on screen. Large selection of pre-made cars, which are all totally customizable and sharable. Tracks are also customizable.

The game will come with a very easy track-maker with a tool called track studio.

Using a tiny bulldozer as a cursor, the demoer creates a track in seconds, using driving controls to lay a pay and using side buttons to raise and lower elevation.

That creates a basic track, which the demoers quickly customize with mountains, forests, and river hazards. Positions the sun to a evening scene and starts playing the track.
